Guide for licence holders

How to give your clients access

A step-by-step guide for practitioners with a Re-Storying Autism Professional Licence.

In short: log in, open My clients, type your client’s email address and press Give access. They get an email to set their password, and then they have their own private access to everything in the Ultimate Course Bundle for as long as your licence is active.

Before you start

  • Your licence is linked to the email address you used when you paid. Log in with that address.
  • If this is your first time, use the link in the email we sent after your payment to set your password. Can’t find it? Go to Log in and choose “Forgotten your password?”.
  • Talk to your client first. Let them know you are giving them access and that an email from Re-Storying Autism will arrive. Check which email address they would like to use.

Give a client access

  1. Log in at restoryingautism.co.uk/login. You will land on your course dashboard.
  2. Open “My clients”. It is in the row of buttons at the top of the dashboard, next to Account. You only see it while your licence is active.
  3. Type your client’s email address. You can also add a name or a reference, such as initials or a client number. Only you can see it.
  4. Press “Give access”. The page tells you what happened:
    • “We’ve emailed them a link to set their password” means they are new. They should look in their inbox, and their spam folder, for an email from Re-Storying Autism.
    • “They already had an account” means they can log in straight away with their usual password and find everything there.
  5. That’s it. Your client appears in your list, marked “invite sent, not set up yet” until they set their password, then “account set up”.

What your client sees

  • Their own course dashboard with all 7 modules, the videos and an infographic for every lesson.
  • Downloads of the course book, the Companion Workbook and Helen Edgar’s Neuro-Affirming Glossary files.
  • Their own private notes and reflection answers, which save as they type, and a certificate when they finish.

Their notes, reflections and progress are private to them. You can see that they have access and whether they have set up their account, but not what they write. If you would like to talk about what they are learning, invite them to share it with you.

Using the course with your clients

  • Suggest a lesson or a module between sessions, or let your client go in whatever order suits them. There are no deadlines.
  • Every lesson with a video has it at the top, followed by the course book text, so clients can watch, read or both.
  • The reflective questions sit above the notes on each lesson. Clients choose at the start whether they are using the course as an Autistic person or as a family member or carer, so they see the questions that fit them.
  • The glossary card deck and posters can be printed for use in your sessions with the clients on your licence.

Remove a client’s access

  1. Open My clients.
  2. Find the client and press Remove access, then confirm.

Their account and notes are kept, so if you add the same email address again later, they carry on where they left off. Removing someone does not send them an email, so please let them know.

If something isn’t working

  • “My clients” isn’t showing. Check you are logged in with the email address you paid with. If your licence payment has failed or the licence has ended, the button disappears until it is active again.
  • My client hasn’t had the email. Ask them to check their spam or junk folder. They can also go to Log in and choose “Forgotten your password?” with the same email address to get a fresh link.
  • I added the wrong email address. Remove that entry and add the right one.
  • “You can add up to 30 clients a day”. This limit protects people from unwanted emails. Try again the next day, or email us if you need to add a whole group at once.

Anything else? Email enquiries@neurohubcommunity.org and a real person will help.

The licence in brief

  • For one practitioner and the clients they work with. Please don’t add people you are not working with, or resell access.
  • Clients’ access ends when your licence ends, or when you remove them.
  • £499.99 a year. It renews until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time to stop the next renewal.
  • The full rules are in our Terms of Sale.
